Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie is the sole woman in history to have won the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter, is also a CrossFit athlete and a famous anchor on the media. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won The CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017, she was awarded in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland with her family. She was an active athlete and started working out at an early age. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit games at California where she was able to perform excellently in the first round. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She is 5'7" and she weighs around 77.5kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. She did quite well through the first couple of games. She placed in the Top 10 among over 70. But she did not take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the tutelage of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished second in CrossFit Games and was awarded the same silver medal year. Following that She took part again in CrossFit Games and was awarded the title because of her dominating performances. The first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was the first woman to have won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Additionally, she won a medal of silver from 2014, and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Today, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. After gaining fame as an athlete Annie has been a face many sports brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance The Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick, Yerbae among others. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" that has over 3,500 subscribers. The channel has videos on training diets and family life.
