David Muir is a journalist and anchor from the United States. He's best known for World News Tonight. With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity gossip, his show has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning program. In the years before the appointment of ABC World News Tonight's anchor, Sawyer served as Sawyer's principal substitute. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He has travelled around the world to cover news that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R.
