David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist anchor, reporter and anchor. Muir is best known for his show World News Tonight. The most viewed news channel across America features his dramatic program featuring celebrity gossips motion-animated gestures and clips. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. He was the principal substitute anchor of the show's predecessor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. His maintime reporting for ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has traveled all over the world to cover news that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Award as well as honors by The Associated Press.
