Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actor from the United States. After her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames '83 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a part of this group. In recognition of her role on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for more than twenty years. She started her career in acting with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were notable, such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the top high school film of all-time. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. She also began appearing on various television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent-oriented show. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other television shows in which she appeared. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero where Sheedy is an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has won numerous awards including the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
